MINTAGE ONLY 19,460. PCGS CERTIFIED EXTRA FINE PLUS, EXCELLENT EYE APPEAL & COLORATION, LOTS OF DETAILS. The 1845-D generally has an average quality strike. The eagle's neck and right leg are nearly always weak as are the top of the shield and the base of the claws. Often found with noticeable obvious marks on the surfaces. Most have poor eye appeal.
